Apologies for inaction
Posted by battlegames on November 15, 2007
I know it’s been very quiet lately, but I’m afraid a combination of real-life factors, culminating most recently with a dose of bronchitis, have kept me away from life online. The need to generate income and nurture our health is something common to us all, so I’m sure you’ll understand that such imperatives must take precedence from time to time, even over the requirement to field miniature armies. (Shock! Horror!) Any self-employed readers will no doubt be completely familiar with the situation I am describing.
The time has also come to de-clutter Battlegames HQ, so I shall soon be selling off a selection of books, figures and otherĀ miscellanea. I shall be posting details hereĀ and elsewhere when this happens.
In the meantime, thanks for your support and I’ll be back as soon as I can.

As one of those self-employed readers, I can certainly sympathize. I hope you’ll be over the bronchitis at least quite soon, Henry!

Take your time and heal. Can’t do anything if you’re ill. Can’t do anything in the way of gaming if you don’t have income. Work on them both and take care of yourself. Speaking as one who is no longer a spring chicken to another, that is! *smile*

Sorry to hear you not feeling well Henry. Also read your announcement on TMP about issue 10 being delayed and problems with your MAC. Hope you feel better soon.
Look forward to the next issue coming out, seeing those figures you were painting and whatever it is you are going to sell to de-clutter Battlegames HQ.

Hello Henry,
I hope you’re feeling better soon!
Nothing quite like being self-employed and having to keep on grinding away even if you’re not feeling the best – I’ve wayched my partner Amy do that and my heart always goes out to her when she’s in that bind.
Best wishes,
Greg Horne
